  • Abstract
    As the development of the computer technology and interface technology, the virtual instrument system with platform of industrial personal computer and PC has become the main platform of test and measure system. But the hardware system of present virtual instrument is giant, which is hard to satisfy the application needs in particular condition, and the software design could not get rid of the dependence on hardware. Aim at overcoming the above problem, in this paper, we propose an embedded virtual instrument design method, which primarily realizes the minimization of virtual instrument hardware and component-based software. The instrument has better stability, interoperation, extensibility and maintainability. The application of this virtual instrument on the inverter test system verifies the feasibility and effectivity of this method.
