Synthesis of active filters taking into account dissipative losses

Abstract :
The calculation of the filters was carried out during two stages. There is determination of equivalent parameters in the first stage. The loaded attenuation of the filter extreme resonance circuit, natural attenuation of resonance circuits, negative attenuation of the loop containing an active element (for the active filters), and coefficients of connection between adjacent loops are determined for the given specifications (including admissible value of dissipative losses). The concrete aspect of the microwave filter is determined at the second stage under the requirements of design, technology or diverse character. The design dimensions are calculated (the width and the length of the strips, and the gap between the strips). It is possible to obtain the equivalent circuit of the active filter, a similar circuit of the element that brings negative attenuation by introduction of a passive filter.
