Abstract :
p-Cycle networks designed for single-failure restorability exhibit some inherent dual-failure restorability. With increasing concerns for providing greater dual-failure restorability, however, it is becoming more important to be able to design such networks to meet target dual-failure restorability levels. We develop a new linear programming model for the design of p-cycle networks that have a specified minimum dual-failure restorability level and analyse its utility in a variety of test networks.
