  • Abstract
    To improve the performance of balance test instrument in being, a multifunctional balance test instrument with USB interface was designed, which can both realize balance test and rehabilitation training. The paper describes its working principle and architecture of the system. Then the hardware design and module design of software are discussed. The instrument supports hot-plugging due to the USB interface. Experiment shows that the maximum error of gravity center in x and y directions are both plusmn2 mm, and the instrument can reflect the balance ability of human precisely.
