Abstract :
A new adsorbent can be obtained after adsorption of Cu2+ by activated carbon and can be used for waste water containing cyanide treatment. The performance of treatment and the factor influence were studied in this paper. It is shown that the removal efficiency of cyanide in wastewater is about 94% when pH value of reaction liquid is 8-11, the adsorption time is 2-3 h. simultaneously, this method has a higher selectivity, for other ions in the water have little influence. The concentration of CN- achieves the emission standard after disposal by this method. The nitric acid of 1.0mol/L is used as desorption liquid in this paper.
