Abstract
This paper presents a new automatic generation control (AGC) scheme based on a multi-agent system through computer networks for a small sized stand alone power system with dispersed power sources such as photo-voltaic unit, wind turbine unit, and diesel unit together with a small sized energy capacitor system (ECS) for the energy storage. The AGC performance is highly improved through the proposed AGC scheme even in the existence of communication delay time.
