  • Abstract
The problem of data dropout and transmission delays induced by communication channel in networked control systems (NCSs) was investigated in this paper, where output feedback control law was employed. These delays and data dropout might deteriorate the system performance and even cause the system instability. To guarantee the stability of such NCSs, we proposed a new method to model the networked control system with data dropout and transmission delays as an asynchronous dynamical system (ADS). Based on some assumptions, and by using Lyapunov stability theory, the sufficient conditions on the stability of such NCSs were presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). A simulation result shows the efficiency and feasibility of our proposed approach.
