Abstract :
SF6 gas is a good insulation dielectric material. A series of chemical reactions takes place after arc-over at high temperature. Some products, produced after arc-over of SF6, seriously influence the environment and human health. This paper presents some safety measures that should be taken during the maintenance of SF6 GCB or GIS. These measures include protection of the environment and human health
