Abstract :
The most general form of radar equation for ultra-wideband signals usage was obtained. The possibility of the electromagnetic missile effect appearance during the remote radio sounding of different media and objects with ultra-wideband signal usage was taken into account. The quantitative criterion describing that possibility was proposed. The radar equation for ultra-wideband signals usage, got in this paper, with less general ones obtained by other authors was compared. The conditions of existence of limiting process from the most general form of radar equation to the other ones were written. The radar equation for ultra-wideband signals usage in methods of remote radio sounding of the near-to-Earth and cosmic media was modified.
