Abstract :
The authors report on an on-going study using the laser induced pressure pulse (LIPP), a form of the PWP technique, to investigate the space charge characteristics of XLPE plaques under dc electric stress. In particular, the effects of ageing times and preconditioning of the material on charge density are discussed
