Abstract
Hydrophobicity and dielectric properties of silicone rubber are measured during aging at different salinities of water over a wide temperature range. The contact angle is used to evaluate the hydrophobicity of the surface. Changes of the original weight of silicone rubber during immersion in a saline solution and recovery in air at room temperature are also measured to evaluate the diffusion process of absorbed saline water
