Abstract :
Ground support for remote sensing of the Earth´s surface is a complicated problem which is sometimes approached without due regard given to the laws and requirements established by the fundamental nature of the remote sensing technique. To address this problem adequately means employing the latest data from numerous sciences, spanning almost everything between electrodynamics and agriculture. The paper summarizes the 15-year research experience accumulated by the authors.
