  • Abstract
    Existing authentication techniques assumes a one-to-one relationship between the user and the device. However using multiple devices simultaneously by a single user in ubiquitous environments is inherently natural. In this paper we present use cases in which it is essential to authenticate a user continuously to guarantee secured data collection service. Next, we examine techniques found in the literature to verify their suitability in meeting the security requirements. We then propose a continuous authentication framework in ubiquitous environments where user-to-device authentication is one-to-many during a session.
