Abstract
Most of existing ultra-wideband (UWB) signal models were collected together, analyzed and classified. For the describing of UWB signal models the set of numerical characteristics were proposed and successfully used. Those characteristics on the generalized plane method and on the instantaneous spectrum method are based. The characteristics set was shown to be effective and useful at the samples of analysis of two UWB signal models based on the Laguerre and fractal correspondingly.
