Abstract :
Organic electroluminescent (EL) devices utilizing fluorescent dyes or conducting polymers have attracted great interest because of their advantage for an emission in wide visible region and for an application to large-area flat panel or portable display devices driven at low voltages. Multi-color emission organic EL device is one of the approaches to realize full-color flat panel display devices. In this paper, we first discuss the emission characteristics of organic light emitting diodes with multi-color emission, and we also discuss transient characteristics and carrier transport in multi-color EL device
