Abstract :
Ubiquitous patient care monitoring system can be defined as the combination of communication technology and body sensor nodes. Ubiquitous patient care monitoring is the part of telemedicine monitoring, an application communication protocol which is HTTP (Hypertext Transfer protocol), used to access information from handheld devices such as PCs, PDA (personal digital assistant) etc. which have the internet connection. In this paper, we have discussed a layout of a database system for server side to monitor ubiquitous patient´s applications data. It provides a new idea of having 6lowpan (ipv6 low power wireless personal area network) and internet based connectivity between doctor and patient. The doctor can directly fetch the patient´s information through server to in his PC/PDA. This paper also includes the web part, as in transfer of patients data, GUI and the communication is made through SMTP protocol (simple mail transfer protocol) and also focused on the format of data that has to be accessed. This work is mostly web based system but the doctor´s focus on the basic functionality of the hospitals. The applications like biomedical healthcare data are considered from the doctor´s point of view.
