Abstract
The Wigner transform well known as the square time-frequency transform from Cohen´s class for solving of problem of the ultra-wideband signal detection with presents of additive weakly correlated noise with non-Gaussian distribution was proposed. The general properties, advantages and disadvantages of the Wigner transform were discussed. Using proposed detection algorithm based on the Wigner analysis, for some simple models of ultra-wideband signals in time domain the problem of ultra- wideband signal detection with presents of noise with uniform distribution was solved. The results obtained and the algorithm peculiarities were discussed.
