  • Abstract
The partum is the most frequency cause for hospital entry. The recording of fetal well-being is a subject which has to be retaken since the present probes isn´t sensible and the technology in US field don´t change in the last 30th years. We had analyzed the cardiotocographic recording results in a sample of 250 pregnant women who came to our hospital delivery unit. The results show a 40% of sensibility and a predictive valor of 50% for this probe. In view of the results and after an extend study for US technology development into our field, we conclude that is necessary instigate the investigation in this medical field for obtain diagnosis methods more safety and reliable.
