Abstract :
The aim of this paper is giving to know the methodology employed for the pupil response evaluation in pseudophakic (person with intraocular lens instead of lens) people with multifocal intraocular lens (IOL). The pseudophakic eyes were stimulated with five specific wave lengths of the visual spectrum and white light. There are in study 10 eyes, 7 of them were measured to 60 cm, and 2m, 2.5m and 3m, the others 3 cases to 60 cm of distance. From 100% of cases only 80% of cases present the maximum contraction to the white light. The biggest pupil diameters to 60 cm of distance correspond to a better visual acuity.
