Abstract :
Building a process analysis based dynamic model of acetylene hydrogenation converter is difficult by reason of complexity and sensitivity of the converter. Because of dead-time of the online analysis, implement advanced control on the convert is hardly. Based on the dynamic model which can represent the fact in the converter, with the model linearization according to the reaction temperature and the length of the convert, a linear process sensor model with variational coefficient due to temperature in the convert is acquired, and the concentration of acetylene at outlet is been calculated by a process sensor base on this model. A acetylene concentration controller well grounded on the process sensor has been applied in a ethylene complex, and the controller make a excellent answer to optimum quantity of hydrogenation.
