Abstract :
In this work the preliminary design of a new, compact and efficient microstrip antenna is presented. The proposed antenna is suitable for the measurement of the shielding effectiveness (SE) of small-size enclosures for which standards such as IEEE Std. 299 are not applicable because of the dimensions of the required loop antenna. Radiation diagrams and other relevant electromagnetic characteristics of the proposed antenna are reported
