Abstract
A land mobile system propagation experiment was carried out in Trabzon. Tree attenuation results at 1.6 GHz are described for experiments conducted between April 1993 and September 1993. The transmitter was located on a roof of a building. A mobile vehicle containing the measurement receiver was employed as a receiving platform. Average tree attenuation was determined for different types of trees and different elevation angles. On the other hand, the relation between average tree attenuation the path elevation angle was determined. The measurement system was described and results of the propagation measurements given
