Abstract
In order to develop an integrated environment for the design and mathematical modeling of fibre optic cable, we considered the technological development and mathematical simulation procedures available at present and integrated them in our software to achieve an easy but efficient environment where it is possible to simulate the mechanical characteristics and cost feasibility of a specific design and thus predetermine the information required by the production department, R&D and sales department
