Abstract :
The degradation rate of lignin was studied directly by ultrasonic radiation. The effects of ultrasonic power and initial concentrations were investigated. The results showed that the degradation rate of lignin increased with the decrease of initial concentrations, but it increased with the increase of ultrasonic power. At the same time, the degradation of lignin was studied by FTIR spectrum for functional groups measurement and the results showed the degradation was mainly because the ruptures of aromatic skelete.
