Abstract
The noise pollution in Chinese cities is so heavy presently that many people´s health is being threatened. As noise pollution can´t be disposed collectedly, it must be controlled at the very beginning of urban dwellings design so that its harm can be lessened cheaply. This paper, focusing on transmission approaches of noise, suggests measures to abate noise and improve the quality of acoustic environment in urban dwellings design.
