Abstract :
Due to the recent development of video streaming delivery, hybrid broadcasting environments have attracted great attention. Some methods to reduce interruption time on hybrid broadcasting environments have been proposed. However, the delivery servers with these methods broadcast data according to the predetermined static broadcast schedules. In this paper, we propose a video streaming delivery method in that the server dynamically determines the data to be broadcast considering the number of clients. Our simulation results show that our proposed method can reduce the interruption time further than conventional methods.
