  • Abstract
The desulphurization characteristics of alkaline wastes were studied by TGA/SDTA851e thermobalance and the high temperature tube reactor. Pore structure of alkaline wastes was investigated by mercury porosimeter. The result shows that CaO conversion fractions of alkaline wastes are higher than that of limestone. Pore structures of alkaline waste are higher than that of limestone. This makes the sulfation reaction goes further. Wastes have good sulfur capture ability. Alkaline wastes are suit to be used as coal combustion sulfur capture sorbent.
