Abstract
This study includes the design, electrical and physiological tests of an electrical stimulator that is able to excite nerves and muscles. The device consists of 3 different units which are stimulator, power supply and computer interface. The stimulator unit includes 3 parts which are; a voltage-current convertor by a power op amp, isolation and an external device trigger parts. The device has an external power supply unit in order to supply high voltage for power op amp. The system is controlled and driven by a computer interface designed in LabVIEW and the interface drives stimulator via audio output of a computer. Physiological tests were performed under the supervision of authorized people. Data of this study is compared with literature data.
