Abstract
In this paper, we investigate one of the MIMO classification problem: distinguishing Space Time Coding (STC) from BLAST schemes. With STC the transmitted signals are correlated in time, while with BLAST scheme the transmitted signals do not have such correlation, that is, the signal emitted from different antenna are uncorrelated. We exploit the cyclostationarity test to distinguish between these two schemes. Different linear combining process of the received signal have been proposed to check the cyclostationarity. Finally, we verify our method using Monte Carlo simulations.
