The living support system using IC card interface with disaster prevention system

This paper presents the living support system using IC card interface with disaster prevention system. There are many electronic and information devices in daily life, and these are improving for comfortable. However handicapped and elderly people are difficult to handle devices because there requires many buttons and keys for settings and controlling. On the other hand, engineers are discussing and developing to improve the interface, and also challenging keep safety for disasters. With these backgrounds, the authors propose an interface which controls devices only detections of IC cards, and then demonstrate performances of fundamental systems. In this paper, the IC card interface is applying to electrical devices in our daily life especially TV control, extended for keep safety with disaster prevention systems that are heat and seismic detectors.
