Abstract
The development of a mathematical model to predict the transient performance of multimachine interconnected power systems has been performed with a computer program also developed to simulate a multimachine system of synchronous and induction machines during both balanced and unbalanced faults. A sample system has been selected to compare the transient performance of the machines during unbalanced line-to-line and balanced three-phase-to-ground faults
