Abstract
The authors have developed a new S/X/Ka-band /spl phi/ 34m shaped Cassegrain antenna fed by beam waveguides at Kagoshima Space Center (KSC). This antenna is mainly employed for the telemetry, tracking and command of scientific satellites. It is also used for ranging and tracking of astronomical satellites. In this paper, the authors present the design of the super-broadband antenna covering the S, X, and Ka-bands, and measured the performance by using both radio star and boresight facility.
