Abstract :
Landslide is a serious global geological disaster that threatens the human life, ecological environment and engineering construction, it causes enormous casualties and property losses. In order to prevent such disaster, it is necessary to monitor and predict the slope stability. In this paper, we present the intelligent system based on the close-range photogrammetry for monitoring and evaluating the stability of the slope, the system includes four modules: the close-range photogrammetry module, static slope stability analysis module, dynamic stability prediction module and data management module. It makes the best of computer to realize automatically acquiring a great deal of 3D coordinates of the slope by close-range photogrammetry, estimating the current stability of the slope and predicting the trend of the slope movement, and so on. This system has a high degree of integration and automatization. It enables the engineers to operate easily in doors by decreasing many boring and dangerous field works, and can provide the essential information which helps the people to make sensible decision of the slope stability.
