Abstract :
Printed probes are currently used to feed millimeter wide-band horn antennas. A time-domain procedure, based on the FDTD method, is proposed to achieve an accurate model of the launching section. A scattering matrix approach is followed and unidirectional time-domain modal sources are developed for an efficient generation of port modes.
