  • Abstract
    Young shoots, collected from about 100 trees, were sprayed on 10 mg/L Sumiseven (S3307) and 100 mg/L Gibberellin (GA3) separately., and investigated for their contents of 10-deacetyl Baccatin III (10-DAB), Baccatin III and Paclitaxel (Taxol) at different time in order to get a better understanding of the synthesis mechanism of taxol in vitro. The result shows that S3307 and GA3 change the metabolism of the three taxanes, and improve the contents of the three taxanes at some degree. We suggest that the effect role occurs before the biosynthesis of 10-DAB.
