Abstract :
A method for the determination of the response of a multielement antenna with M parallel identical elements is presented. Antenna analysis is done in the time domain. With the developed method, the current distribution along the antenna elements and at the feeding point is determined directly in the time domain. The determination of the magnetic vector potential and electric scalar potential is based on their previous values, using the method of characteristics. For illustration of the exactness of presented method, the conductance and susceptance of the antenna are obtained. Those results are compared with results obtained with another method.
