Abstract :
A mass transport is the most limiting process, which influence the response quality of the thick film amperometric sensors. A new arrangement, which ensures defined mass transport to the electrode, is presented. The advantage of this arrangement is also the possibility of electrode arrays use. The arrangement consists of rotating conic vessel for measured sample and the thick film amperometric sensor trenching in. The mass transport was tested on basic electrochemical couple of potassium ferrocyanide-ferricyanide. Thick film sensor´s response dependence on the liquid velocity and geometrical arrangement is presented. This new electrochemical analytical solution was registered for patenting with number PV 2001-4096.
