Abstract :
Various illustrative and informative curves for the resonant frequencies, (f/sub r/), radiation Q (Q/sub rad/), and fractional bandwidth (BW) together with contour curves for a specific f/sub r/ and Q/sub rad/ have been presented using the dielectric waveguide model (DWM). Many samples have been chosen from the presented curves for comparison among the DWM, HFSS simulation, and measurement. The resonant frequencies are within an error of 5-8%, while the errors for the impedance bandwidth are much greater.
