Abstract
The authors developed and validated user-friendly positron emission tomography (PET) image processing software for the semiquantitative and quantitative analysis of static, dynamic, and gated cardiac PET images. This software is based on the intuitive graphical user interface of a Macintosh II computer and can be used by medical personnel with limited computer expertise. It has been validated and is used routinely for both research purposes and clinical analysis at the PET center of UCLA
