  • Abstract
Modern satellite communication systems utilize a spread spectrum technique (CDMA), and thus require from a mobile terminal antenna a wide frequency band of operation and good circular coverage. We analyze a candidate mobile terminal antenna that can be used in direct user to satellite communication (2.4 GHz). Emphasis is placed on evaluating the vehicle mounted antenna performance.
