Abstract :
Although parallax mapping has the capability to represent the bumpy detail and the motion parallax effect, the incorrect offset makes the ldquotexture swimrdquo especially pronounced as the texture is shifted between eyes and the surface, which appears slightly out of focus. In this paper, we propose a method to calculate the texture coordinate displacement. This method can be enhanced the quality of the rendering result of parallax mapping with graphics hardware.
