Abstract :
We generated an ultrabroadband coherent infrared pulse with 1-200 THz spectral range through an air plasma induced by a hollow-fiber compressed 10-fs, 300-μJ pulse and its second harmonic. Also we coherently detected the infrared pulse up to 100 THz with electro-optic sampling using a 20-μm thick GaSe crystal, proving that the infrared pulse was phase locked.
