Abstract :
The article presents identification system of the airgap in the magnetic bearing actuator. The system is based on measurement of the current waveform in coils of the bearing. In this work, some aspects of the measurement has been considered and theoretical basic of self sensing method were presented. The device was designed and simulated in NI Multisim 10 program. Prototype of a measurement device was also build and verified.
