Abstract :
A full body wearable instrumented system is proposed in this paper. The system consists of a headgear, custom-made lycra suit with embedded wireless sensors and an instrumented shoe insole. In addition, the proposed system will be wireless systems and hence it will not interfere with the movement of the subjects. The initial results provided by the first installment of the shoe insole are comparable to various normaltive gait parameters data. Hence, it is anticipated that the developed system will provide a cost effective alternative to vision systems in analyzing human gait.
