Abstract :
The paper introduces a hardware-efficient interpolator architecture that is able to handle very large and fractional interpolation factors. Unlike most existing solution, the interpolation is performed in one step, which obviates the need for complicated multi-stage implementations. Besides the architecture itself, the paper also offers an analysis of the interpolation performance, using various interpolation functions.
