  • Abstract
Quadrifilar helical antenna is one of the most commonly used antenna for satellite and mobile phone systems. It provides high gain, shaped beam with excellent circular polarization over a wide angular range. The quadrifilar helices have the small size and weight. The proposed antenna providing a good axial ratio with low return loss. The antenna provides a very high beam width of 1270 to provide a good coverage of upper hemisphere in vehicle plane and omni directional pattern in the horizontal plane. The proposed technique providing good axial ratio and low return loss.
