Abstract :
Electromagnetic radiation occurs at ventilation slots of a metallic enclosure, giving rise to electromagnetic interference (EMI). This paper demonstrates the EMI dependence on slot orientations and dimensions through a series of full-wave EM simulations. Double enclosure with orthogonal slots and combination with edged slots are proposed for engineering designs.
