Abstract :
In this work we propose a 6Gbps Current Mode Logic(CML) receiver with the function of loss of signal(LOS) detection, which forms part of a Serializer/Deserializer IP used in a high speed I/O links. The detect differential threshold is 200mV. The work was designed in a 0.13um CMOS process. Using a 3.3V/1.2V power supply, the chip typically consumes 20mW.
