Abstract :
A variable high power microwave system, wherein output power can be varied from 0.6 kW to 5 kW at a nominal frequency of 2450 MHz has been designed and developed for processing of material in liquid form. Two applicators have been developed for the processing of material. One is a rectangular multimode cavity for batch processing. The second one is cylindrical cavity with tubes for continuous operation. The complete system and the process are automatically controlled by a PLC.
