Abstract :
The solid-state power-combining amplifier is a key for modern communication and radar system. In this paper, a new high isolation power divider/combiner circuit based on improved magic-tee circuit is put forward to investigate. The simulated and tested results show that it can achieve very good performance of high isolation. With using this new power divider/combiner circuit, a 29~31GHz band continuous-wave 40W solid-state power-combining amplifier is designed, fabricated and tested.
